I salute your commitment to your craft. I also recommend learning your technique from middle-aged women who write good slash next time (all this "one more finger, he drizzled on more lube" stuff is not technically extraneous) and not "letting" anyone do anything to you.

or talking to men who engage in it. not all 'middle-age women' know what they're doing either. just because they write good slash doesn't mean they have the mechanics down. there is a world of difference between writing good fiction and writing believable fiction.

This is true (the fetishization of rimming in the slash-writing community tends to exclude discussion of the involved risks, for example) but there does tend to be loving attention paid to the need for lubrication and preparation, so - but yes, it is probably a better shortcut to ask a dude than to ask women who write dudes.
