I think it's more of the fact that they're ashamed to admit to someone that they like the pairing because we're all a bunch of foaming retards, according to a lot of people, rather than the fact that they like the pairing itself.

Bahhh. I don't know anything that goes on in the fandom any longer, I just like the things for... liking them, I suppose.

And aren't there retards in every fandom? XD; People are so afraid to be grouped in with them to like something now? Well, to each their own. .__.

Haha, I lurk a lot in fandoms, and CLAMP is one of the worst in terms of shipping hate and generalizations. Personally, I like what I like, but it can be intimidating to some to say that when it comes with being pinned with a label.
