You sound badass, Anon! How did you get into MMA?

Ha, thanks! I've done various martial arts through gradeschool, highschool, and college, and was post-college before I started MMA. I had done aikido, karate, kenjutsu (katana sword) and, if it counts, Tai Chi sword before that. I moved to a new city and wanted to join something, but found that Asian martial arts schools could be really hit or miss when it comes to sparring, which I enjoy. I figured MMA would have the combative stuff that I liked, and so I did a trial class and loved it.

Though I don't watch it on TV or anything, which is a shock to my MMA classmates. lol

Cool! Good on you, anon.

I've always thought that kind of thing was cool, but well, even doing aikido managed to end in me tearing cartilage, so apparently I'm not really cut out for that. Glad you're keeping with it!
