Text: I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease last year. I have since then endured 6 months of chemotherapy and have to take lots of pills every day, all of which changed my appearance, and certainly not for the better.

Sometimes the only thing giving me the courage to leave my apartment is imagining him looking me up and down appreciatively and saying: “Not bad.”
