(Anonymous) 2015-04-21 02:58 am (UTC)(link)I kind of miss when Dusk was actually intimidating. She started out as the embodiment of everything cruel and pitiless about the natural order, with no regard for any rule or truce and no fear of any possible punishment. Then she started screwing up more often and getting a lot more jokes at her expense, and she became more of a goofball comic relief villain. And then she started developing an actual conscience, which doesn’t fit at all with how she acted at first!
I guess she was a bit too much for a “family-friendly” comic, but it felt like she was the one thing that made it different from other funny-animal comics.
