When they're over I'm usually embarrassed or I feel like a terrible person because I called you useless or an idiot, and it's not even something I think about and wouldn't say, but it just came out of my mouth?
Just accepting my apology, or finding it funny if I want to laugh at it is really nice. Pretending it didn't happen is cool. Treating me like I'm a dangerous and unstable explosive device is pretty irritating.
You can ask her. She probably has her own way of dealing with it, but going by the way she joked about it, it kind of sounds like she'd prefer to treat it like it's not a big deal.
