And when there are beautiful people in European shows, there tends to be a diversity to it.

I think this is a consequence of the 'average' people being unusually pretty - when your 'average' is pretty, you're much more limited in what you can use to signify 'beautiful'.

So what your saying is there are no beautiful non-Americans, and any diversity in beauty or beauty that is a deviation from the US homogenity is because they are NOT beautiful, but rather prettily average.

I don't know if you're trolling me, or just completely lost the plot.

On the off chance that it's the latter, here, in more simple terms, is a repeat of my point:

When you present as 'average appearance' people who are actually prettier than average - as US TV does - when you want to show that somebody is 'beautiful', you are left with a much smaller pool to choose from.

This, of course, leads us to the inevitable consequence of less diversity.
