I get this-- like, I remember way more about the production of RHPS I saw live than I remember of the movie. That said, bad adaptations of stuff you love always suck, because they never live up to what you loved, plus it makes you look like an idiot, a snob (because who sees live theatre/watches old movies) or both for liking something so shitty.
