Me, too. I just wish I could understand them better. There have been many a British tv series I had to stop watching (Shameless is one of them) because I just couldn't catch the words.

Ditto, that's why I always look for subs. I can't understand half of what they're saying without them.

As a British person I'm intrigued by this. I didn't realise that television shows were ever hard to understand. I could get it if it were thick Glaswegian accents, but most telly accents are quite watered down. The only time I find it difficult is if people mumble, but that's an issue generally no matter what accent.
