I have no problem with analyzing. I love all kinds of fandom discussions. I just find it pretty exhausting when people get extremely aggressive about it. E.g. "Frozen is racist trash, it has only white leads and this fact alone devalues the entire film!" as an example. In fandoms with lots of SJWs it just seems to be the main kind of discussion: "Let's praise the show for its progressive (or what is seen as such) parts, and criticize the "problematic" ones!" As a person who belongs to a minority myself, I find it pretty draining after a while, because it's the kind of rl negaivity I try to escape from.
It's just nice to be in a fandom where people are not blind to such things, but the majority of discussions are still about the old-fashioned topics of storyline, style (in drawn media), pairings, etc.
