Hey, if people want to talk about relationships coming out of the blue, I'm going to have to nominate Clint suddenly having a family (admittedly I'm not in any Marvel loop so I could have just missed something from previous movies). I quite like Natasha and Bruce's relationship, personally, it was done pretty well imo. The fan backlash is only to be expected.

Edit: In other news, why are people getting so mad about the spoilers in this secret? It's just talking about the hint we get from the trailers, surely? smh

Yes, shoehorned romance for the sake of pairing up the lone woman of the team is super great.

When that was revealed, my first thought was "WTF? That is so out of left field... but it actually really fits." Flat out, if you told me that one Avenger had a family I would have said Clint and somewhere nobody (I would have excluded Fury even and probably Nat) knew about. A sort of long distance trucker kind of thing, only with more danger.
