Haven't seen the film yet, but I don't see how her having a romance makes her a terrible character. Pretty much all the Avengers have had romances, so this isn't surprising. (Granted, I don't think she NEEDED to be paired up, and frankly if they wanted to go that route I probably would've preferred her with Clint because it felt like the other films had already hinted at that, especially with the arrow necklace in Winter Soldier, but...whatever. I'll deal. Maybe they'll even be cute.)

I'm not writing the pairing off until I see the film, I'm just...not excited for it either. (And I'm not a massive Clint/Natasha fan either, but I do like the idea of them.)
