Some people like the feeling of power when they're someone's confidant. Calling them out on their nosiness can be pretty effective, especially if you're subtle. Sort of wrinkle your nose, look amused and slightly weirded out and say something like, "Huh, you are really eager to find out about other peoples' private business, aren't you."

If they don't take the hint, I'd try a firm "I don't want to talk about this and you're making it weird. Please cut it out." Turn it back on them. It's awkward, but they're the ones making it awkward.
