I don't think that's it.

Tyrion is a Lannister and Shae is a whore and then a lady's maid, so the power is definitely on his side, except for how much he loves her.

They're just so beautiful together. I only watched the end of season four after this secret was submitted but it doesn't change how they were before.

I did think of one more exception. Andy and April from Parks & Rec. They also give me warm fuzzy feelings.

Otherwise it seems my preferences ate firmly fixed. In real life, I'm uncomfortable with age gaps of more than a few years in relationships. It's just in fiction I like man/much older woman, and it means that most of my het ships I see regularly dismissed as crack ships.
