How about a spoiler section after Games thread for discussion of anything within...3 months of its initial release. Regardless of where the initial release was.

(meaning if a movie's initial release is in Maldives, it can be moved out of the spoiler section 3 months afterwards. Even if it is released in the US 2 months after that).

Also, collapses for anything after that, using best judgement.

I actually like this idea a lot. It's fair and if you have a clear section for spoilers, people who want to avoid them can browse GC in peace and people who want to be spoiled have somewhere to go where the discussion happens without having to wade through a dozen comments whining about spoilers.
