(Anonymous) 2015-04-24 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)See, I don't mind people getting excited about it. I'm trying to keep my expectations low because of JJ but I don't WANT it to be bad.
But good lord is it hard to get excited when people seem incapable of expressing that excitement without getting their hate on for the PT.
I'm a Zelda fan too, and Zelda fans are notoriously critical, but it'd get exhausting if people were endlessly and CONSTANTLY crapping on Skyward Sword in the run-up to the release of the next Zelda game. I had problems with that game too, but I still like it and it would honestly get old really fast to have it torn apart all the time.

It's just that I don't share that excitement, and it's just awkward being in that situation where you dramatically disagree with the way people are talking about something.
