Had been talking with a few friends about going to see a concert tonight. My one friend wanted to see this band, and she wanted to see if me or my roommate wanted to come along. I was into it, and was planning on going, right. Text her this evening to see if she's still down and she makes an excuse about how she can't, family stuff etc.

Mention it to my roommate and come to find out she'd texted him earlier in the afternoon to ask if he was planning on going (he wasn't).

Now, I don't really care. I'm fine if people don't want to hang out with me. But it is funny to me how blatantly it looks like she just didn't want to hang out with me. And also, that she apparently didn't think I'd talk to my roommate about it? It just makes me laugh.

Anyway I don't know it's just a thing that happened and I'm posting about it because???

maybe??? they did hook up once a couple years ago (we've all been friends for a really long time)

i kind of doubt it though, because (a) she's got a boyfriend atm afaik and (b) they're incredibly incompatible personality-wise which is why they only hooked up once
