Well, to be fair, if you think buttsex is gross that might not help with the enjoyment of a huge part of slash fic.

And, the whole internalized misogyny is a pretty gross generalization. I'll give you some fetishization, but that sort of depends on how you define it. One could argue that people by definition fetishize tings they're sexually into.

Well sure, if I use expressions like "tend to" and even bother to admit that a portion of slash is good, and you still think I'm mostly about generalizing, then go ahead.

I know a few slashers who are actually cool people. But sometimes you see a cow in a slaughterhouse and can't eat burgers for years afterwards, even if it's organic meat.
