Oh god I had to axe a lot of my tumblr follow list for that. They kept posting that shit untagged, and because tumblr's UI is awful, it would AUTOPLAY.

So not only was I being spammed with horrible horrible things, MY COMPUTER WAS SO LAGGED I COULDN'T CLOSE THE TAB.

Funny how trigger warnings are the most important thing in the world for pictures of food, but not at all important for pictures of violence. (Because THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW!)

To be fair, one of them it was a total accident; they thought they had tagged it and once I brought it to their attention, they were very apologetic and fixed all of it. But others, yeah, it was definitely political soapboxing. "You just don't want to know the truth!"

Yeah, no. I know enough people that I'm willing to bet ONE of them has been a victim of police brutality, or lives in fear of it. Why would I inflict untagged autoplaying videos on them? It's common politeness.

+2 on the unfollowing a few people. I cant handle blurry pics, I can't handle a gif of someone being tasered to death. No.

Yeah, especially since I don't KNOW how the dead person's family feels about that shit being posted all over the place. Are they okay with this? Would THEY want to have it shoved in their face online? I wouldn't!
