You've said what you don't want, what do you want?

(Anonymous) 2015-04-26 05:03 am (UTC)(link)Old-school cheesy sci-fi with lasers and spaceship battles and sentient AIs. Old-school cheesy epic fantasy. Ridiculous cheesy stories about a bunch of kids or teenagers with superpowers teaming up to save the world with ~*THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP*~. Basically, anything that's cheesy but earnest.
I know webcomics that would appeal to me must exist, but I can't be bothered to dig through mountains of terrible webcomics to get to the good ones. The only one I've really been able to get into is Homestuck, and that's mostly because of all the fascinating and creative worldbuilding.

(Anonymous) 2015-04-26 05:20 am (UTC)(link)But you might want to check out some of the Narbonverse stuff (really, basically anything with Shaenon Garrity involved). And also, some of Chris Baldwin's sci-fi strips - I'm a HUGE fan of Spacetrawler.
