Re: Is there any effective way to stop bullying?

One thing that would help is if teachers/counselors employed some common sense. For the love of god, stop telling kids to tell bullies how they feel. The bullies know; that's the whole point of bullying. It worked for me once, and even then it was less "I feel when you" and more "you're the asshole loser here."

Also, parents need to not raise bullies, and while I know bad kids happen to good parents... often I think either the parents are bullies too, or they have no idea what they're allowing their kids to do.

THIS. I HATE parents who feel bullying is just part of life, that it happens to ALL kids and that all kids need to accept it and get over it!
