Re: Politicians

Well, my father-in-law used to be the city clerk, and a high school friend's dad is a state senator in Florida. From my meetings with politicians through these connections, I've found it really hard to get a gauge of what they're really like, as they are constantly "on" (in terms of greeting people formally and somewhat aloofly). I've yet to see what any of these people are like behind that facade, but I get the feeling that "tired" would be a very appropriate adjective to use.
