This reminds to finish reading Animorphs. I was going to read Everworld next, actually,

I read some of Everworld (for the first time) a few years ago. It's pretty good.

I still have the limited edition CD that came with the first Everworld novel

Text: I can’t help but resent THIS series [Animorphs] for being more popular than THIS ONE [EverWorld]

secret because: people who gripe about other things being more popular than their pet series always look like sour grapes whiners

Could never get into EverWorld. Animorphs was/is the bomb.

I loved them both, tbh. Thing is they are very different and I can see why Everworld didn't catch on with a lot of people, sadly.

Of course the common factor to both series (and I'm aware I'm going to set off a flurry of comments with this post) is that both have completely lame endings. It's enough to make you wonder if K.A. Applegate just lost interest with both series or if she just sucks at writing satisfying endings. Can't pick on her too harshly: endings have always been the part I struggle with the most when I'm writing.
