That sounds more like hypoglycemia than high blood sugar, IMO. If you're going with the tinhat "wasn't his fault" theory. I can't understand why knew incident would get him sacked. Sounds like that was the final straw from a long string of unreported incidents, if it's like any other workplace.

One incident of PUNCHING SOMEONE should get anyone sacked, regardless of past history and behaviour. It should also involved charges being laid, but the dude didn't want to lay charges. (Given that the victim was getting death threats on tumblr from TG "fans"...can't say I blame him.)

Like any other workplace? What? Of all the places I worked, I don't think a single one wouldn't have fired someone the first time they punched another employee. Physical assault's kind of a big deal.
