Re: Your worst dates
What did you say in the case of the first one? I feel like I'd look directly at the guy who asked me on a Definitely A Date and say "Did you say this was supposed to be a date?" and then glance between them meaningfully.
I just let it go. We weren't supposed to be dating (my parents didn't give a shit, his did) and I figure he had told them he was going to be hanging out at said best friend's house. Still, the decent thing to do when you're covering for your best bud's date isn't to go along with them. I blame the best friend more than him, because my date was kind of a pushover type person and it wasn't really in him to stand up to people easily.
He was a sweet guy, I wouldn't categorize him as an asshole. The other two ex's though, definitely.
