I'm not arguing that it's bad, just, what do I say if someone asks me to cut 3 for the same reason (an offensive word)?

Do we allow "bitch" but not "cunt" or do we cut both?

Just trying to establish a baseline.

How about going by context?

Is the word being used as a general insult, or pointedly to attack a race/gender/class etc? Calling a man a cunt isn't nearly as bad as, say, mocking a transperson by calling them a tranny or a mentally disabled person by calling them a retard or a gay person by calling them a fag.

15 is pointedly about black people and insulting them, 3 is using the word interchangeably with asshole, right?

Yeah, that's fine with me as well, I was just trying to be as concrete as possible.

I mean, if it was up to me, I'd be fine with leaving it 100% to your discretion, but my sense is that something more specific is wanted.

Provided nobody randomly puts a picture of a white person going "THIS GUY IS A [INSERT RANDOM RACIAL SLUR OF WRONG RACE]" but I mean, that's pretty easy to just delete for trolling.

Which is part of the context too, sort of. It's not just one stray word in the image. No fault of OP's, but the image is like half an essay about it...

It is easier just to let it all shown unless it is attacking someone on here personally. No point having to decide which words should be censored or not. Depending on when you were born, queer is a slut. Depending on WHERE you were born, fag is a slur.

^Does not really to be cut, but that is the logic. Better to just let vaguely intelligent people learn that "Some secrets are NOT worksafe" means slurs as well.

Honestly, I'm not sure, within the format of this sort of community, how a text with "warning for slurs" is really that much different from seeing the slur itself. It's just a single word, unlike secrets that might describe sexual abuse, torture, etc in a sentence or even paragraph. I mean... are you going to scroll really fast by the "slur secret" just so you miss the n-word and are therefore.. not triggered or something?
