Firsthand experience here, it can be done. It's not entirely comfortable and there's considerable chafing, but it can be done.

It's denim, not concrete; of course it's possible. I find it hard to understand why you'd imagine it wasn't.

It's especially good if you like more intense pressure/stimulation.
