I'm sure your speaking will go better than it feels while you're doing it. Just take your time, and don't forget that taking a slow breath can really help your nerves.

I've been doing pretty well with my Duolingo stuff lately. Mainly working on Dutch, but I've been neglecting German so badly since college and I'm starting to feel guilty because now I mess it up with Dutch spelling, oops. Eventually I want to get back to Italian too, since it stopped somewhere past the middle of the lessons. But I've also been exceptionally good recently because I started a new French novel. I aim to read at least two each year, so I feel dutiful.
