You know how coles does the $10 Jamie Oliver recipes? They're never fucking $10 and his instructions are confusing.

The problem with Coles and their "$10 recipes" is that they work out the cost according to how much of each ingredient you use in that one recipe. To buy a packet/bottle/etc of all the ingredients you will be spending a whole pile more, and you got to damn well hope it's an ingredient you're going to use again if you're buy a $4 jar of something that you only use a pinch of in a single recipe!

TL;DR Coles $10 recipes are priced contrary to buying ingredients all at once.

Mind you, it's not Coles who has the deal with Jamie Oliver, and I haven't looked that closely at Woolies in-catalogue recipes to see if they pull the same crap.

I still think the complaint stands though.
