I used to be like that but in this case I just really want some acknowledgement of the toll this is taking on me. This class was a complete bait and switch where I was scheduled to go in for a certain number of hours a week and that number ended up doubling with no warning. That's a problem. I carefully arranged my schedule according to what I thought I could handle in order to work around my health problems. I've complained about it to my professor and others and either they don't get it or they just don't care.

Wow that would miss me the fuck off. Did you take it to higher-ups? They should at least be aware.

Thankfully the project that's causing all the trouble will be over tomorrow.

But I'm not sure who I could go to. It's not my professor who organized it. It's the whole department (which she's only been in for a year).

I'd definitely consider talking to the department head about it, especially since the prof is new to there. (And even if the prof had nothing to do with the issues, you should talk to the department about it.)
