Haha. This reminded me of this time in college on of my art professors picked out this one particular student's work to show as an example for the rest of the class and how we should've all strived (strove?) to be like him.

The example student? Was only taking six credit hours.

I think I was taking 18 at the time. I know I had friends who were taking 15/18 credit hours AND had 30+ hour jobs.

It was such a backhanded insult to all of us, and she didn't even know.

TBH, I don't really remember.

I did the best I could do with the time + money I had. (Because it was a digital art class, part of the homework involved printing out stuff on high quality glossy paper and that shit wasn't cheap.) Ultimately I think I ended up getting a low B, which was good enough for me.
