It doesn't help that the official support is nigh non-existent, and even the Monoprice support seems to know fuckall (mine is the 10x6.25 one, and the reviews and answers show customer service referring to sites and drivers that are located offsite).
Not to mention going near blogs, particularly on tumblr, for help has to come with a helping of proselytizing. Do I really have to drink some anti-wacom koolaid to use a budget tablet?

tbf it's lasted a lot longer than I thought it would (2+ years iirc?).

I hope you don't have to struggle with it too long or can upgrade to something more stable at some point. They'd be so easy to rec if it weren't for the frustrating issues :/
