there are (I don't think they're official) mods that you can download to have romances with other guys. I think that's what they're talking about?

I heard that Haer'Dalis was a romance option in the original planning, but they took it out. :(

Yeah, people keep trying to make Haer'Dalis romances but none of them have ever got finished. :(
