...no. Just no. I respect Anne Rice too much as an author to even consider her in the same genre as Laurel K. Hamilton. And while I haven't got a clue who the other woman is, I doubt she deserves to be lumped into the category of "Badly Written Mary Sue Porn with Way too Many Failed Attempts at BDSM" either.

And LKH needs to stay out of my sexual orientation. >.< Seriously, if her writing is any indication, she's not good at it.

Um...by the way...Stephenie Meyer SO deserves that...

She writes such bad stuff...but no it is not porn, it is teenaged literature, whatever that is.

God, I can't believe that I recognized that :/. Her picture is on every book! Maybe that's why!

Also Anne Rice kicks ass (though she kinda deserves the wank imo)

I've never heard of her, so I can't say I have an opinion either way on her writing. But if it's "teen lit" I think I'll avoid it in the future.

I've never spent more than 3 seconds on F_W all my life, but the notion that someone semi-literate still considers Anne Rice a writer -- nay, a good writer still makes me LOL.

I may have to read more of her books to give a definite opinion of what I think about her writing, but what I've read so far doesn't make me respect her as an author. It reads more like a fanfic on some bizarre canon I have never heard of. But that's just my humble opinion.

W-well, I have heard that EXTENSIVELY from my friends, but maybe I can then understand the amount of love or hate people have for her.

At worst, I shall view it as a badfic! Nothing can be as bad as that hilarious Harry/Draco fic that talked about fireflies in one's bloodstream and soft baby rolls as another's stomach! o/
