Inspired by #15

What characters who aren't explicitly shown to have a religion to do you head-canon as religious?

What religion do you head-canon them as and is there any reason you feel that way?

Does non-religion count?

I headcanon everyone as apathetic atheist unless religion is explicitly mentioned. Not anti-theist, just secular.

I have Salazar Slytherin from Harry Potter as being convinced muggles were outright less godly than witches and wizards. Given that it was the middle ages, I can see it.

I also have a head canon that the Weasleys themselves aren't so religious, but technically belong to an old wizarding denomination.

Princesses Celestia and Luna have some form of religious background. Celestia still believes, but Luna no longer does. Most other beings in Equestria wouldn't even understand what a "religion" was--their closest comparison would be their feelings towards Celestia herself--and this serves to further isolate her from all the ponies around her. (What can I say? I like angst.)

Interesting thought. Who does a god worship? (the answer, of course, is the All-Mother Faust, Maker-Goddess of the 4th world)

Unless stated otherwise I assume they're all atheist. No reason.

Unless stated otherwise, I assume everyone's Christian but in the C&E crowd.

Enh, I dunno if it's HEADCANON, but I enjoyed the Jewish Blue Beetle fics I saw. (Not Reyes, Kord.) It was never a big deal in the fics or anything though.

I personally think the Dursleys attend church (CoE) semi-regularly, because it is the respectable thing to do. They however never took Harry, so he grew up agnostic, possibly atheist.

Avari Elves (Elves in Middle Earth who refused the invitation to Valinor) venerate Oromë more than the other Valar, because they met him in person at Cuiviénen. They are aware to a degree of the other Valar, but Oromë is more relevant to them.
