I've only have an episode of hives once, in December of last year. It started on my chest under the sides on my bra and moved down my arms and the rest of my body from there. It went later that night, then came back the next day and again the day after. Then it hasn't happened again.

I could never figure out what caused it, but I'm guessing stress since I was in the middle of teaching a class. (Try teaching while you are try not to itch the skin off your boobs. Fun times.)
