Ulcerative colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis. But that was years ago and I'm pretty much fine now.

+1 on the first one, but fortunately it rarely bothers me (yay for effective medication and somewhat healthy eating habits).

It sure did make my late teens to early twenties a shitty experience (haha pun intended) but thanks to modern surgical interventions I basically live a normal life now. :) Your concern is very sweet, Sneak.

I'm glad. And I'm glad the surgery helped; surgery can be really scary. Was it for the bile ducts or something? Making them work like they should? How does it happen?

Oh no, no. PSC is an autoimmune disease affecting the entire liver. Luckily it is totally curable with a liver transplant, which I recieved in 2007.

Eep, that's a hell of a combination. Glad that you're doing well now. Husband's got both colitis and Crohn's, and it...ain't exactly a picnic.
