Short burst of exercise, say 10-15 minutes, but make it energetic so it gets your heart rate up: exercise bike, jogging in place, brisk paced walk, etc. My doctor told me that stress/panic triggers your body's fight or flight instinct, but most people don't do either anymore so all of that energy has nowhere to go. Exercising burns it off and brings you back down.

This sounds helpful! I take long walks every day, but this is also pretty much the reason I don't do any fast-paced exercises nowadays. I should try this.
