You do realize that people who genuinely have epilepsy alter the settings on their computer to avoid seeing triggering images. That was another concern troll getting the rules changed to create more trouble. You were had, Case.

Maybe! It was an old rule from like 5 years ago, and nobody's complained about it until now.

Yeah, kill the rule. Epileptics alter their equipment already so we should be able to watch it just fine.

I'd like to see .gif secrets on the main page again. I don't see the harm.

I don't mind trying that. It was an old grandfathered rule from LJ-FS, anyway. Hopefully it doesn't cause any issues.

Does anyone have any specifically .gif blocking add-ons or anything I could recommend if anyone does have an issue? Just to be prepared.

I wouldn't but mostly because gifs while browsing on mobile are a pain the ass.

Adjust your settings then. If you can cope with it on the rest of the internet, you can more than cope with it here.

I tend not to briwse places where gifs are posted on my phone, tbh. But it is only a minor annoyance so I'll deal.
