The actors who played Jackie and Kelso are now engaged and have a baby together. Shipping one half of that couple with someone else makes me feel guilty, despite the obvious difference between fact and fiction. Hence the fact that it's a secret.

I used to watch the show off and on when it aired, so I've never seen the full show. I did like Jackie with Hyde.

I think he went to Africa or something. I stopped watching around that time too.

Only lasted one season after that. He broke up with Donna and ran off to Africa to find himself or something like that. He returned in the finale and they got back together (of course). They still spent an odd amount of time at the Foremans' house, despite Eric being on a different continent.

IIRC, both Eric and Kelso left and they tried to fill the space with a new guy that nobody ever liked.
The last season was terrible because it made Fez a suave ladies man and him and Jackie got together.

In the context of the show I thought Jackie and Hyde made a lot more sense. I still don't understand why they didn't go anywhere with it.

I actually like Jackie/Hyde better too, but the way I see it is that Jackie/Kelso were awesome high school sweethearts and then them breaking up and Jackie/Hyde becoming a thing was what happened when they grew up and weren't such a perfect fit anymore. I like to pretend that Jackie/Hyde was endgame for realsies and nothing happened to end it or anything like that.

Text: I'm really enjoying a That 70s Show rewatch, expecially because there's a new adorableness to Jackie and Kelso's (happy) scenes together.

But I feel kind of guilty because I still prefer Jackie with Hyde.

(I stopped watching after Eric left. I hear she ended up with Fez? FEZ?)

Yes, she ends up with FEZ. Also FEZ becomes some sort of cassanova (and they move together into an appartment before the hooking up), Donna breaks up with Eric because going to Africa or whatever, Hyde marries a stripper he met at Vegas, Donna dates some random hot dude we don't care about and... yeah, the writters where trolling extra hard on the last season.

I don't understand why people liked Jackie and Hyde... or Jackie and Kelso. Both Hyde and Kelso were pretty awful to her.

Granted I didn't watch the last season but I don't know why Fez is such a bad option because at least he was nice to her?

Eh, all the relationships except Kitty and Red were terrible for different reasons.
People like Hyde for Jackie because he made her more mature and the whole opposites attract thing.
Jackie/Kelso was just cute in a puppy love sort of way that you eventually grow out of, but he was the worst for her because he cheated all the time.

Fez was not terrible for her it was just kind of random. I know a lot of people didn't like how he was made to be some casanova in the last season. I wonder if they would have taken this pairing seriously if Fez remained the awkward dork he was in all previous seasons.

AYRT I think the reason people liking Jackie/Hyde confuses me is because I rarely see people acknowledge how mean he was to her, especially early on. Liking messed up relationships is fine, but acknowledge that it was messed up.

And Jackie could be obnoxious but I felt like she didn't deserve the way either Kelso or Hyde treated her. I've seen a lot of people act like Fez is the WORST possible choice and compared to her other relationships I just don't think that's the case.

Of course, the funny thing is that I've heard Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher actually didn't get along that well when they were filming the series.

I'd like to re-watch That 70s Show at some point, because I really loved it. Except the last season, like everyone else, though the finale had its moments.
