Eh, he is my favourite of the New Doctors... I wouldn't say it's because of edgyness, but I think how he uses humor as a coping mechanism for his pain... I can relate to that (not that I believe I'm responsible for wiping out two species).

I also like Matt Smith...

My favourite overall is Tom Baker... because Jellybabies!

I think he's just the best actor of the new Doctors, and I prefer his season over the way it's gone since (though I like Matt Smith too).
