Fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, that is absolutely terrifying and I'm sorry you have scarring but I'm glad you survived. (It DOES sound like you were lucky, considering the circumstances. That's a serious accident. Jesus.)

I feel like I should wish you luck for the future after reading that...

On the plus side, I got lots of morphine afterwards. That made the horrendous pain during the airlift almost worth it. The worst part actually was the airlift, once they started moving me to get me on the stretcher that is when my neurons decided it was a good time to let me in on the problems I suddenly had. I don't even remember going through, nor the two storey drop, or even the landing. Everything was kinda misty and warm until they put me on the stretcher (face down too), then it hurt just a little. After they bolted my rib cage together (giving the TSA carte blanche to grope my boobs every time I fly now), I was on painkillers pretty much constant for a couple of months and that part was pretty fun. I can see why morphine is so scarily addictive, it is way better than weed. I'm still puzzled by the broken ankle though. I dunno how I managed that one.

Oh wow. This shit sounds unbelievably painful, and I'm glad to read that there was no serious long-term damage to your health, but being on drugs for a couple of months non-stop must've been quite the experience! You saw any interesting stuff? Or was it just the feeling of pleasure?

Also, out of curiosity, what'd you been doing on that roof?

I was supposed to be making sure the lock on the roofhatch was locked. It was. The frame around the roof hatch was somewhat less structurally secure though. When we were dropping stuff in through the hatch with the crane, I think someone must have hit the frame and not reported it. I didn't have any hallucinations or anything, but it was just like floating in a cloud and I found everything everyone was saying hilarious for some reason.

Urg, poor you. I can't even begin to imagine how horrible your experience must've been, but at least you had drugs to help things along. I would be scared as hell of taking them that long (because, as you say, addiction) but you probably didn't have much choice. :(

At least it all worked out in the end? Please stay away from heights. (Whenever possible.) I sure as hell am. (Partially because I'm already scared of them, partially because you've made me even more scared of them, lmao.)
