It's really not slash goggles. It's heavily implied that this is a canon pairing in the game.

nayrt

I think if you're wearing "hetero goggles" you could probably try to explain this pairing, but I am fairly certain they were intentionally gay. Quips about Lucius being feminine, Raven telling him he doesn't want a wife, he wants Lucius, and them having a paired character ending (almost always reserved for romantic pairings)... yeah. I don't think this is a slash goggles thing.

"implied" does not canon make, sorry.

da

Depends on where you draw the line on what's canon. If you need to absolutely see everything in front of you and have it spelled out to be canon, then no. But things don't have to be explicit to be intentional.

When all hetero romances have declarations of love and kisses, while the same sex interactions get a "use you imagination lol" at best.

I don't recall all the Rekka no Ken heterosexual supports ending in explicit declarations of love and kisses? I mean, the "third" conversation is usually just some kind of admitting that that person is important to you. Which Raven does to Lucius (and says he wants to live with him, and for him basically to be his wife). And then they have a paired ending together. I mean... it doesn't take a lot of imagination.

Lots of implied het ships are considered canon. I call BS on most of them. But Fire Emblem has 0 canon ships. It's up to the player to puzzle out intentions or make their own. So it's one of the canons were it's a bit more reasonable to call implications canon, though they're still definitely not canon.

You obviously know nothing about this canon. They have a paired ending together, and it's not the first time the series has done it either. Or the last.
