Okay, so Sheamus returned to the WWE as a heel (a bad guy) and started a feud with Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan, claiming he wanted to rid the WWE of underdogs and smaller guys and other such nonsense. (Both Ziggler and Bryan are currently pretty much the ultimate underdogs and the most popular of the smaller guys.) Daniel Bryan ended up being re-injured and was replaced in the feud by Neville, but Sheamus' obsession with Ziggler persisted, culminating in him proposing the stipulation that the loser of their Extreme Rules match must kiss the winner's arse. (Sheamus is Irish so it's arse instead of ass.) Thus, the "Kiss Me Arse" match was booked. Despite Sheamus' bluster, he was the loser of the match. He dithered about, angry and in disbelief, enduring chants of "pucker up" and taunts from Ziggler, who had hiked his trunks up and slapped his own ass (as you've seen). Sheamus pretended he was going to kiss Ziggler's ass, but instead low blowed him, kicked him and then rubbed Ziggler's face in his own ass. Sheamus' ass-pirations have still not been satisfied, as he claimed that if he became King of the Ring (a bragging rights tournament that was held that week after Extreme Rules), he would decree all the guys like Dolph Ziggler would have to kiss his arse. He didn't win that either, but his current enabler and partner in heelishness, Bad News Barrett, did. So, his feud with Ziggler (and Neville) continues, as Ziggler insists on calling Barrett out on his crap, then Sheamus backs Barrett up against Ziggler, and then Neville backs Ziggler up against both Barrett and Sheamus. Plus, Ziggler clocked Sheamus in the eye, busting him open and resulting stitches and an ugly bruise that's persisted for a week. So, he can't really let that go unpunished now. (Ziggler taunted him by saying "I dotted your eye.") That's it, that's the whole story up 'til now. It's as homoerotic as it sounds, as Sheamus' actions read like the man has a massive crush on Dolph Ziggler and is doing everything to have his Dom-y kink for ass kissing realized. (Though I ship them as sub!Sheamus/Dom!Dolph.) It's pretty much the most stupid thing ever and I love every second of it. This isn't even the most dramatic plot line right now, either. So, should you decide to get into this fandom, look me up because this fandom is way more fun with people to squee with.
