ahaha same. I actually really like the mood of the song and the way they sing it, but some of the lyrics, man.

Every time I hear this lyric I laugh hysterically. It's so laaaaaaaaame.

Yeah, the song writers were reaching with that lyric. They probably came up with it towards the end of the song writing session when everybody was tired and wanted to be done with that shit.

"Fuck it," said Bob the songwriter. "If you tilt your head and mispronounce a few things, 'pain' and 'again' almost rhyme."

"Yeah," said Jill. "But how can we squeeze 'pain' in there?"

"Window pane?"

They took a moment to silently acknowledge how terrible that lyric was.

"Know what? This is Marshall and Rihanna. We could throw any terribad lyric in this song and the people would eat it up. Window pane it is."

Jill took a slug of whiskey and gave him the thumbs up to show her compliance in the continuing destruction.

Nah it wasn't me! Never seen that post, just been affected by that line ever since I first time I heard the song clearly around when it was released. More than any other line I can remember. Nice to know I'm not alone though!

It's the kind of line that I just ALWAYS hear. Like if the song is on in the background and I'm not paying attention, the only words I will hear clearly are "I guess that's why they call it window pane", nothing else. It's so cheesy, omg.
