Ugh, the way some of the characters treat the whole "Adalind pretended to be Juliette and got Nick to knock her up thing" genuinely disturbs me. It's just completely nightmarish to be tricked into having sex with someone who you believed was your partner and then have that person try to guilt you into caring for the child that resulted from it. I feel so sorry for Nick
:(

There's been so much fuckery with bodyswitching and pregnancy (mystical pregnancies piss me off) that I've lost all respect for Grimm's writers. especially since they took a great opportunity for Julliette to grow into her new power (with some bumps in the road, of course) and turned it into this disastrous implication that just *being* a hexenbiest somehow makes you evil.

Whut? Why? That other hexenbiest that was helping Juliette wasn't evil. She was a nice lady.

Juliette is acting so outside her nature, though.

Also, whydafuq didn't they just call Trubel in and try using her blood to "cure" Juliette if she was so horrified at losing her previous life?

And I agree with OP: Adelind was better when she was a villain. This helpless woobie victim role doesn't suit her. She's done some terrifically evil things in her time, not to mention, she was the one to first strike out at Nick -- by killing his Aunt Marie and attacking him, Hank, and Wu before they even knew who she was.

Something happened when they fired most (I think all but one?) of the last writers room and brought in a whole group of people who have, if not barely any experience, at least barely any screen credits/evidence of experience to their names. Something not good.

Holy cow, I didn't realize. That explains a lot.

My BFF and I blogged about the show until recently, around the ep with the black boxer guy, at which point we went OKAY THIS IS TOO MUCH RACIST FOR US and quit. But before that, we paid a fair amount of attention to the show and got maybe nosebleed seats to the writers' room shakeup. It was... disappointing.
