The new venue is super pretty and I was very pleasantly surprised by how they dropped it on us. Someone in the comments mentioned that, going by the item descriptions, some form of alchemy or pigment mixing might happen in the future? That would be neat!

I am in that situation where I want to exalt many dragons but all the adults I have are dragons I'd rather keep because they're pretty or might make pretty babies but lair space is getting tight so I will have to expand and then go buy more exalt fodder and-- yeah.

Is it bad that there's no lore in my lair? I keep seeing all sorts of cool ideas and stories in the fórums, but each time I try to do that for my dragons, I come up blank.

Isn't it? I'm hoping that's the case!

I love the new venue; it's so colorful!! I'm not getting too much luck with familiars, though (or maybe everyone else has just battled there much longer than I have!).

It really is! I'm enjoying it so far, and I'm with you on the familiars. I do have one of the insect ones, but only because I bought it off the AH when it was first announced, lol. |D

I'd rather not watch him exalted, but if that happens, hey. He's off the AH right now, because if it comes to it, I'll Coli and let him go before reset.

The new Coli level is pretty! I was surprised to walk into one of the minibosses like two battles in. Got a couple repeats of a new familiar already; they're going well on the AH.

Ooh, good luck! He's not my cup of tea, but how his eyes match his wings is very nice!

The new venue's alright. I like that there's a two-flavour boss in it, and enough bug drops that might make it a nicer alternative to farming wasps in arena. Plus I got a couple familiar drops right away, so I feel kinda lucky today. Otherwise, I'm probably not going to be spending much time in it until I'm done with my exalt fodder since they won't get experience there.

uhhhhh I don't have any breeding projects right now, but I finally bought a seraph gene for one of my progens. That's progress on that front kind of maybe. I don't quite understand what makes a derg valuable or good looking outside of not burning my eyes.

It is pretty helpful! I'm working on getting all the gathering achievements right now, and I got insect gathering awhile ago, so I've not been doing it recently. As a result I'm starting to run low on insects. |D I think I am going to hang in there for a while right now; I don't have any exalt fodder, but that is an issue. :/

Yeah, and then even eye-burners are valuable to some people. |D I don't really understand it either, but what can you do, lol.

I tried thinking about how to gene up this guy the other day but I'm really bad at it D: I think I'd go for the first suggestion someone gave me. It might give me motivation to be more active too...

Ugh I can't post links because Dreamwidth hates OpenID but here's some stuff I think is pretty:

Clown/Eyespots/UB --I love light-point Clown with Eyespots, and the navy in the UB ties it all together really nicely.

Bar/Daub/Spines --He looks like a punk python <3

And of course if you want a really long-term project and the ability to sell hatchies instantly, go with CryFace or IriShim even though I personally dislike those immensely because everyone else loves it.

Seconding bar/daub, though I'm a fan of smoke. |D

Crystal/current might be nice, but I don't know what tert to put with it. I'm also a fan of rip/facet/circuit.

I'm so glad the new venue isn't another lvl 25 venue, and I'm really interested to see if they're going to add more in the future they way the did this one (making Boreal lvl 20 and sticking this in at 19).

I haven't had a chance to play in it yet, but all the familiars are really pretty and I'm going to need a gazillion of them *_*

I've been farming in the new coli venue all day. I want one of those flying snakes so bad. The monkeys are awesome too. No familiars so far, though.

I'll post some sale/giveaway dragons tomorrow. I'm to tired to hunt right now.

I purchased a triple silver female imperial yesterday. She's now named Annatar. She's replacing my former Annatar because her colorings match better with my Celebrimbor for baby making purposes.

My Celebrimbor is a silver/silver/obsidian, so if they give me babies with that coloring I could let you know.

you guys i am so fucking close to having all of my dergs triple gened

i mean i only started in April and i've only got 10 but still. i honestly think i blew over a million treasure this week since i'm Ice Flight and I wanted to take advantage of the discount. now if only the marketplace would give me a fucking Tiger I have the money LET ME GIVE IT TO YOU (and also I need to make 90k tomorrow for an Eye Spot scroll)

also I got one of the new manticore familiars so there's that. that was nice.
