Re: Stuff you wrote as a kid

I wrote "original" stuff. I'm sure it was heavily influenced by the stuff I was watching/reading but nothing that really stood out as fandom.

One thing I do remember writing was this Mary Sue who was a famous author/model/researcher/etc. She was world renowned and amazing. She had just reissued an old book and it was selling like hot cakes because it finally had a picture of her on the back (since she was a recluse before that and no one knew what she looked like). And she was gorgeous. She was also somehow going to stumble on an ancient civilization and meet some mystical guy.

But the thing I remember most about it is that I had her mom (back when my Mary Sue was a child so it could be appropriately tragic) spontaneously combusted. It was due to magic. The reason I remember it is because I told my mom or she read it and she would bring it up how I killed off the mom. (To be fair, I think I killed off the dad too later on.) It was kind of hilarious.

lmao, holy shit. I love it! What an unusual (?) thing for a kid to write.
