I pretty much agree with all of this. AO3 is fantastic and its search is really good.

I'd still love to see more powerful search techniques, but realistically, that's mostly because I'm a weirdo who just wants to fuck around with the catalog. In terms of actually finding fics, I think any improvement would really be marginal. It's absolutely fantastic.
