I'm maybe a little less cyncial but still cynical enough to think it's the oppisite way around with 80% being honest and enjoying the freedom of the internet and 20% lying thier asses off or just being too dumb to understand what genderdsyphoria actually entails.

I think this percentage rises and falls with the place on the internet you're looking at. Fandomsecrets, for example: I'm pretty sure most people here are pretty genuine. Tumblr? Not so much.
